I’m back to blogging after taking some summer vacation.
Recently my husband and I visited Port Aransas and spent some time at the beach. While we were there, I took advantage of the scenery and captured a few images.
That’s me taking photos on San Jose island, an uninhabited area north of Port Aransas. We woke up early and took a boat out to the island, so we had the beach to ourselves. The shot at the top of the post is from San Jose island. And yes, of course we crossed the line that says “do not cross.”
Like I said, we woke up early to catch a morning boat out to the island, but before we set sail, we walked down to the beach closest to our hotel to watch the sun rise. There were clouds out, so we didn’t get spectacular colors, but it was still worth the walk.
There’s one very important rule I always follow while walking on the beach – never feed the birds! But I do like watching when other people break that rule.
Here are a few other scenes from our time at the beach.
Thanks for looking!
