My last post was about shooting Brennen Blakemore at Wimberley High School in anticipation of their game on Friday against Coldspring-Oakhurst. The Statesman sent me to Bastrop on Friday to shoot that game.
It was an important game for both teams. A win meant a chance to play in Cowboys stadium and a shot at the state championship title. Wimberley came through with a 21-14 win after a touchdown in the fourth quarter by Blakemore.
It was an exciting win for a talented team that has worked hard all season.
