Friday I was at Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville for the Statesman.
It was the darkest stadium I’ve been to so far this year, but it was a good game. The first quarter was interesting with several dropped snaps and fumbles.
The biggest challenge, like I said before, was the light. At 7:30 p.m. when the game started, I started at ISO 6400, f2.8 with a 1/640 shutter. From there the only place I could go was ISO H0.3 and H0.7.
For those of you who don’t speak photo, that means it was really dark and the pictures are really grainy. Unfortunately, that’s a hazard of shooting high school football.
