I was on my way to another assignment when I saw this house. It was in the historic district in San Marcos and I was struck by the massive amounts of bluebonnets in the yards of the beautiful historic homes.
This one made me stop the car. The bluebonnets were knee-high and so thick they looked like hedges along the sidewalk. It’s been a great year for wild flowers.
