Pumpkinfest has become an annual event for the youth at The Journey UMC in Kyle.
We go to a home with lots of room to smash, throw, bat, golf, decorate and destroy pumpkins left over from Halloween. The highlight, though, is when firefighters (who are also neighbors) climb to the top of an old fire truck ladder and drop the pumpkins to the ground.
It’s a lot of fun and makes for some good photos too. I always bring my camera to capture the madness. Since it’s Friday, I thought I’d share some of that excitement with you!
