Friday I was at Canyon Lake High School, where the Hawks took on Wimberley HS.
I’ve spent a lot of time at Hawk Stadium. I covered every home football game for a few seasons for the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung. This time, though, I was shooting for the Statesman.
The game was packed! Both sides were predicting a win, but Wimberley was the clear winner with a final score of 50-14. Despite the what the score might say, it was still an exciting game with some great plays.
