Friday night I was in Pflugerville for the Pflugerville HS v. Akins HS football game for the Statesman.
The most exciting part of the game was when a player was ejected for fighting. There was a disagreement about who started it and who did what, but fortunately, no one was hurt, and the worst part about the incident was that Pflugerville was down a player for the night.

At most football games the ROTC presents the colors and the crowd sings the national anthem. This time boyscout troop 214 had the honor of raising the flag.
The stadium was a lot darker than I expected and I had to raise my ISO to 6400 from the starting kick. That meant a lot of grain for my action shots and some shots that were too dark to salvage. However, here’s the best of what I got.
