Saturday I shot the start of this year’s Texas Water Safari. Over 100 canoes and kayaks left Spring Lake at 9 a.m. and raced to the coast at Seadrift.
If you couldn’t tell already, this is one of my favorite events to shoot all year. I haven’t ever gotten to follow the race all the way down to the coast, but some day I will. I shot from three locations – the start at Spring Lake, Rio Vista Falls and Cottonseed in Martindale.
Anyway, here are some of my favorite images that I captured on Saturday.
