If you’re like me, you know that portfolios are important, especially when trying to find new clients. But with all of that sorting and editing and deciding, it gets put on the back burner over and over and over again.
It’s been on my To Do list for a while because the portfolio on my web site is about 3-4 years old and doesn’t really highlight my current shooting style. I’ve thought about just deleting it completely and using my blog to show off my work like some photographers do, but I think I really need to keep some kind of collection on my main web site.
So I began the search for portfolio-worthy images today and the photos at the top are a few I came up with. I have my collection mostly ready and now I have to figure out the best way to present it.
I’ve thought about a Lightroom gallery, but I’m not sure if it will fit in the space on my web site (and I don’t want a link that will pull someone away from the site). Also, I would like to update my portfolio more often, so I don’t want to hard code it.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Please comment below or comment on my Landis Images Facebook page. Any help would be welcomed!
