Keridwyn Hershberger, owner of Devonshire Incense and Soap Company, works the ingrediants of sweet myrrh incense in to a meat grinder in her Smithville, TX shop on Wed., Feb. 15, 2012. The ingredients are run through the grinder, which is heated by a propane burner, several times until the incense is the desired consistancy. Her incense is sold wholesale to various monasteries. Hershberger, a fourth generation incense maker, continues her business in Smithville after her Bastrop home and shop were destroyed in wild fires.
