Geoff Waters, who competed in the men’s solo division, makes his way down the first chute of Rio Vista Falls in San Marcos, TX on Sat., June 8, 2013 during the 2013 Texas Water Safari. The Texas Water Safari is an annual 260-mile canoe and kayak race that begins in San Marcos, TX at Aquarena Springs, travels down the San Marcos River and Guadalupe River to the San Antonio Bay, ending in Seadrift, TX. Over 100 teams had four days to complete the race, which is billed as the World’s Toughest Canoe Race.
